Glass Journalism Meetup: Pitches & Pizza

Class BrainstormingThe semester has kicked off and the class has been hard at work testing Google Glass, working with News/Media companies and brainstorming features and apps for wearables.

All this work leads us to the next step, which we have converted into a #GlassJournalism meetup: The students will pitch their news/media Glassware ideas to attendees… we will then collect feedback and decide which of these ideas we will actually develop/build the rest of the semester.

In addition to the students, we’ll also have Aneesh Chaganty, USC alum and the director behind the Google Glass short film Seeds, via G+ Hangout, to talk about what he learned from creating content with the wearable.

You are welcomed and encouraged to join us for the event Tuesday, September 16 at 6:00PM.

Space is limited, so RSVP is required: http://glassjournalism-pitches.eventbrite.com

Pizza will be served at 6:30PM, speakers will begin at 7PM.

We will be meeting in USC Annenberg’s new building, Suite 310 (aka The Epicenter of Awesomeness).

You can see the Glass short-film Seeds here:
